Christmas Is Here Early...

To me, the Christmas season doesn't begin until December 1st. I don't think lights and wreathes should be up or Jingle Bells should be playing until the month in which the holiday occurs. But this year I had to readjust my thinking as it just seemed right that we take Miss Madi to her first Santa Claus parade. Despite the fact that she had no idea what was happening, and won't remember it, Drew and I were excited to take her and truth be told we did have a pretty good time...while she slept. And slept. She slept though kids running around screaming, transport truck horn's honking and police sirens screeching. We'll tell her she was there someday and hopefully she will appreciate the sentiment.
